New planner, new Bottega?
Daniel Lee’s runway debut for Bottega Veneta has been hotly anticipated since his arrangement as Creative Director the previous summer. The Celine alum prodded us with his course for Bottega Veneta with his over-overstated intrecciato weave packs for Pre-Fall 2019, however at this point we have a first see his introduction runway gathering for the brand.
The packs, and there were many, included everything from pillowy calfskin fold sacks to organized smaller than usual packs and everything in the middle. Lee has clearly put his own turn on Bottega Veneta, yet the packs at their center pay respect to Bottega Veneta’s image DNA. The cowhide seems predominant and the littler organized sacks make utilization of Bottega Veneta’s fastidious regard for equipment and terminations (anyway there were not a single bunches to be seen!).
